# About Me

Hi! I’m Vicente Gutiérrez, a Software Engineer at Bizee with over 10 years of experience in software development. Throughout my career, I’ve taken on various roles and worked with different technologies, adapting to the needs of each project and team. However, I feel most at home in the backend world, using technologies like Python and JavaScript (Node.js).

Currently, I live in Guadalajara, Mexico. I have a Golden Doodle named Morgan, I enjoy playing video games, and I’m a passionate collector of Pokémon TCG cards.

At the moment, I’m delving deeper into advanced topics like software architecture, system design, and algorithms—areas I consider essential for building scalable and high-performance solutions.

# My Experience

I have over 10 years of experience in software development. While my job titles and the technologies I’ve worked with have varied from company to company, I’ve consistently focused on three main languages: PHP, JavaScript, and Python.

I’ve worked as both a full-stack and backend developer, but my expertise and preference lie in backend development. My current stack revolves around JavaScript (Node.js) and Python, technologies I’ve been working with for several years. I also have solid experience with PHP, one of the first languages I used in my career.

Additionally, I’ve had the opportunity to work (and continue working) with a variety of frameworks and tools that complement my tech stack:

  • TypeScript
  • ElectronJS (JavaScript/Node.js): building cross-platform applications.
  • FastAPI (Python): developing fast and robust APIs.
  • ExpressJS (JavaScript/Node.js): creating lightweight and scalable web applications.
  • GitHub Actions: automating workflows and CI/CD deployments.
  • Docker: containerizing and efficiently deploying applications.
  • Google Cloud Platform: scalable cloud infrastructure and services.
